This book was a hell of a challenge for me. Why? Well, first I can say, not proudly, that I have never read a book where the main character is bisexual. And I can tell you, this time proudly, that I liked it.
The second challenge was the language itself. I had read books in English before but it’s different. Very different. However, Gemma Snow is such a good writer that I didn't have much trouble. Her writing is simple, descriptive – but not too much - and it makes you feel like you are both living the history and living in Paris with a hot, famous Spanish guy: Niccolo. But you may call him by Nicco.
This wasn’t just an erotic romance. It was way more than that. It’s about a woman who has had her heart broken. She felt the pain from being cheated by her husband, she felt the acid words and the damage they can do to a woman even as confident as Belle. Belle didn’t want to open her heart again, didn’t want to feel that pain and humiliation again, so you can’t crucify her when she's so cautious, so well wise to how a man can lie or cheat. So, a guy like Nicco – famous, playboy and very attractive – it’s a huge no for her.
The history began with a very…explicit way and admit it or not, you will be caught just by that. You won’t stop reading because it’s just impossible.

And right when he was receiving… well, you know what… he had a seizure. Yes! I know! Tragic but so damn funny. I mean… It’s not funny having a seizure but how and when he had was just…. You know.
The parties, the alcohol, the girls, the boys, the sex, the wild way of living, it’s just too much. So, his bosses gave him a choice. He goes to Paris, learns to dance ballet and stops with that wild lifestyle or he can say goodbye to his job. Simple as that.
“So here’s the deal. Either you learn to dance pretty for the press, run the Paris PR circuit, put your time in with the fans and the tours, our you’ll be dancing out of here without a job.”
Without any possible choice to make, he goes to Paris. There he meets a beautiful and fierce woman who turns to be his instructor. Nicco feels attracted to her. Her beautiful body and her “Mrs. Independent” way drives him nuts. But in a good and erotic way.
Belle doesn't want anything with Nicco. She just wants peace, a cup of wine and a stage to dance upon. But the things don’t work as she wants them to. When she sees that he is in pain too, like she is, and for the same damn reason, she can’t deny what she feels about it, about him. The vision of the playboy, wild sex, wild lifestyle it’s nothing but a mask. Step by step, she lets him in.
Nicco, on the other hand, has one more problem in his life. The man who he calls him brother – but not by blood – is addicted to cocaine. And, to not lose the family’s company, he needs to do rehab. Nicco feels that it’s all his fault.
Belle and Nicco can’t be separated from each other. And the sex? Oh, thank you so much, Gemma. Really. I was really sick of the same and old explicit sex stories. It’s just the same. Always the same and don’t touch me at all. But Seduction en Pointe makes you feel like you have a voyeur side. Or a wish to make a sex show. Nicco is wild, sexy, and… you need to read this story to understand what I’m saying.
At the end, we’ll understand that the wounds and the fears they both carry aren't going to vanish with a blink. Maybe they can’t trust anymore. Or maybe they will find a way to trust and to find ways to forgive the past.
Seduction en Pointe is a book you need to read. It’s very well written. It’s erotic in a way you will find yourself wanting to try the things described and, the most important thing, it’s a love story. Everyone in this world or felt the pain of being cheated or knows somebody who was cheated or cheat. It’s about forgiveness, about trust, about love and important choices you need to make.
